Defendant State Farm Fire & Casualty Company ("State Farm") appeals as of right the portion of a judgment of summary Disposition of September 4, 1996 (the "September 4, 1996 Judgment") granting summary disposition to plaintiff Brian Salesin ("Salesin"), denying summary disposition to State Farm, and awarding attorney fees to Salesin. Salesin appeals as of right the portion of the September 4, 1996 Judgment denying class action certification and the portion awarding attorney fees of $2,000 and costs of $2,000 as unduly low. We consolidated the appeals by an order entered December 11, 1996. We affirm the grant of summary Disposition to Salesin, affirm the denial of summary Disposition to State Farm and remand to the trial court for a proper consideration of class action certification and attorneys fees and costs.
